Wildcats Navy 16U team finishes with a 3 - 1 record in Indianapolis and moved their record to 14 - 3 on the year.

DTA Wildcats played on Wednesday, June 20th
in the Chicago Scouts Association
Woodbat Showcase event at LincolnWay
West HS. DTA was selected by the Chicago
Scouts Association to participate in this
event along with a select number of travel
programs in the area.
A number of the Wildcats 16U (2014 grads)
were in attendance at the Super 60
Showcase held at Wheaton College on
Thursday in front of a number of
Division 1 college coaches.
Wildcat Zack Wiegel was named as the
Chicago Tribune Player of the year and
Prep Baseball Report Player of the year.

Wildcats place 3rd in Perfect Game Kernals Tournament in Cedar Rapids, IA!!
In the top exposure and competition tough tournament in the Midwest in the fall, the 17/18U Wildcats went into extra innings in the semi-final game before losing 4-3 in 8 innings. 30 of the top programs and teams in the Midwest converged on Cedar Rapids Iowa for this top tournament.

17U Wildcats go 3 - 1 in Top Prospect Tournament in Bloomington and move their record to 14 - 6
17U Wildcats go 3 - 0 in pool play at NIU tournament and finish in the top 4 out of 30 teams.
16U Wildcats to 3 - 1 in pool play at NIU tournament and just miss going to the final 4.
17U Wildcats go 4 - 0 in pool play and secure the #2 seed in the Cincinnati Flames 17U Tournament of Champions before losing to the tournament champion Cincy Flames. The Wildcats secured a top 6 finish in this highly recruited and top talent laden tournament.
15U Wildcats White finish in top 4 of Triple Crown Midwest Championship.
16U Wildcats finish second in Triple Crown Sports Midwest Championship tournament!
16U Wildcats win the Championship of the Marmion Cadet Tournament going 4 - 0 - 1
15U Navy Wins Championship of Elite 8 Benedictine Tournament going 4 - 0 on the weekend to move their record to 6 - 1 on the season.
15U White team wins the crown going 3 - 0 in the DTA Memorial Day Weekend tournament.
16U team starts strong with a 2 - 1 record in the DTA Memorial Day Weekend Tournament.
15U Navy team goes 2 - 1 in the DTA Memorial Day Weekend tournament, with only a 1 run loss stopping them from an undefeated weekend.

Over 500 college and professional scouts were in attendance at the 85 team event which is billed as the top recruiting and scouting event in the U.S. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DTA Wildcats finish the fall exposure campaign with a 18 - 5 - 2 record and take second place in the Past Time Fall Wood Bat Championship in Indianapolis at Butler University. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wildcats 18U team goes 5 - 0 and wins the DTA Labor Day tournament championship with a 3 - 1 victory over Pro Player Academy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Congratulations to Evin Natick on his committment to Heartland Community College. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
16U Wildcats finish 3 - 1 at U. of Iowa The 16U team went 3 - 1 and lost a heartbreaker to the Indiana Prospects by 1 run to keep them from the championship game. The 3 wins pushes the 16U teams record to 23 - 6 this year. In the 7 tournaments, the Cats won 2 and were in the final four in four others. The 6 Cat loses are by a combined 8 runs! Great job 16U Wildcats!
15U Wildcats Finish 7th at CABA World Series! The 15U team won an exciting 8 - 7 win over the Boston Rams to make the top 32 of the CABA World Series and then proceeded to win two more games in bracket play to finish in the TOP 8 of the 40 team tournament!!
16U & 17U teams finish in top 4 at DSP World Series! The 16U team finished 4 - 1 and was upset in the semi-finals at the DSP World Series in Bloomington, IL. The 16's went 4 - 0 in pool play and secured the #4 seed with several come from behind wins but were unable to come back in the semi's and lost 7 -4. The four wins push the 16U record to 20 - 5 on the year.
The 17U team finished 4 - 0 in pool play with a big come back win against Pro Player Academy in pool play and secured the #2 seed out of 24 teams. An opening game 1 - 0 victory behind the stellar pitching of Craig Berberich moved the CATS into the the semi-finals. After averaging over 10 runs per game in pool play, the bats were silenced in the semi-final game and a 3 - 0 loss sent the CATS home with a 5 - 1 record and a 3rd place finish in the tournament. The 3rd place finish is the 3rd top 4 finish out of 6 tournaments for the CATS including a championship in the KCC tournament to start the year.
Monaghan commits to Southern Illinois Edwardsville Congrats to Michael Monaghan (2011 Geneva HS) who has committed to play baseball at Southern Illinois.
Sauer commits to Eastern Illinois. Congrats to Dane Sauer (2011 West Chicago HS) who has committed to play baseball at Eastern Illinois. The Wildcat pipeline to Eastern includes former Wildcat player Ethan Burau and current Wildcat player Matt Kaiser.
Rojas commits to Olivet. Congrats to Luke Rojas (2011 St. Charles East) who has committed to play baseball at Olivet Nazarene College in Bourbannais.
16U team so close, moves to 14 - 2 on the year. The DTA Wildcats 16U team played in the Diamond Sports Top Prospect Tournament at Illinois St and finished 5th out of 20+ teams, just missing the final 4 by 1 run with a 3 - 1 record.
Scandora fires perfect game at Flames Tournament Eric Scandora pitched a perfect game in Cincinnati for the Americans team in the Cincinnati Flames 4th of July tournament. The 17U team played several top Ohio teams and made it to the Championship round of 12 (out of 28 teams) going 2 - 1 - 1 in pool play before losing 4 - 2 to the Lake Erie Bulldogs in bracket play.
16U team stays hot, moves to 11 - 1 on the year. The DTA Wildcats 16U team played in the Triple Crown Sports Naperville Classic tournament and were crowned the Champions after going 4 - 0 in pool play and securing the #1 seed, only to be rained out again on Sunday.
Wildcats go 5 - 0 to win Championship at Kankakee CC The DTA Wildcats 17U team ventured to beautiful Kankakee Community College to play their first tournament of the season and came away with the championship, winning 8 - 7 against the Illinois Irish on Sunday. The CATS went 5 - 0 on the weekend playing some very good ball while beating several 2010 pitchers who will be pitching in college.
Ben Krusen Named to Perfect Game Pre-Season All-American team.
Congratulation to Ben Krusen (2011 Glenbard West) on being named to the Pre-Season Honorable Mention All-American team by Perfect Game. Perfect Game is the most highly regarded scouting service in the Nation, and this is truly an honor for Ben and the Wildcats for him to be named to this elusive team.
